George Kruszewski joined Sachs Waldman in 1979 and became
a shareholder in 1984. He is Chairperson of its Labor Division.
Mr. Kruszewski's practice is devoted to the representation
of both public and private sector labor organizations in employment
related disputes. He also represents multi-employer fringe
benefit funds, primarily in collection matters
Mr. Kruszewski's practice takes him before the Michigan Employment
Relations Commission and National Labor Relations Board, as
well as before state and federal trial and appellate courts.
He also represents labor organization clients in the arbitration
setting, involving both discipline and contract interpretation
issues. In addition, he frequently speaks and writes on labor
law subjects to union officers and members.
Mr. Kruszewski is a graduate of the University of Michigan
(BBA, 1969; MBA, 1971, Cum Laude) and the Wayne State University
Law School (J.D. 1975, Magna Cum Laude). After graduating
from law school, he worked for the National Labor Relations
Board from 1975 until 1979. Mr. Kruszewski is a member of
the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice before
the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of
Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United Sates District
Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
